This timer is a simple helper, not medical advice or a treatment. It runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Study with me, without the video
Study with me videos work because studying beside something steady feels easier than studying alone. This page gives you that in a lighter form: a timed session, a lamp that glows while you work and dims at breaks, and optional background sound. It loads instantly, uses almost no data and has no ads or comments to pull your attention away.

How to run a study session
Choose 50 minutes of focus with a 10 minute break, or 25 with 5, then press Start. The timer moves from focus to break and back on its own, with a soft chime at each change, and gives you a longer break every few rounds. Write what you are studying in the box so it stays in front of you. Press Pause for interruptions and Reset to finish.
Quiet background sound
Choose soft rain or brown noise if you study better with something steady behind you, or leave the sound off. Both are generated in your browser, so there is nothing to download, and you set the volume with the slider. Chimes for the phase changes are separate and can be muted.
Study timer lengths
50 and 10 suits reading, problem sets and writing, where it takes time to settle in. 25 and 5 suits memorizing, flashcards and tasks you find hard to start. 60 minutes with a long break is a good fit for deep work on a single subject. Pick one, stick to it for a week, then adjust.
Frequently asked questions
What does "study with me" mean?
It usually refers to videos or livestreams where someone studies silently on camera so you can study alongside them. This page is a different take: a study timer with a lamp and quiet sound that keeps you company without a video.
How long should a study session be?
Common choices are 25 minutes with a 5 minute break, or 50 with 10. Shorter rounds help when a subject is hard to start; longer ones suit deep reading and problem sets. Change the numbers in the cycle settings to fit you.
Where does the background sound come from?
The rain and brown noise are generated by your browser as you listen, so no audio file is downloaded. If sound does not play, check that your device is not muted and press Start again.
Can I use it on my phone or tablet?
Yes. It works in any modern mobile browser. Keep the screen on and the page open for the chimes to play on time; the Keep screen on option helps where it is supported.
Is there a video or a live stream?
No. This is a timer with a lamp and sound, not a video. That keeps it light and distraction free.
Will the timer keep running if I switch tabs or lock my phone?
The countdown is calculated from the clock, not by counting ticks, so the time left is always correct when you come back. Some phones pause the sound while the screen is locked, so keep this page open and the screen on if you need the chime to ring on time. The Keep screen on option helps where your browser supports it.
Does this timer save or upload anything?
No. The timer runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account. Only your last choices, such as sound on or off and the color, are remembered on your own device.
